It's a season for giving! Are you looking for a place to donate to for your end of the year giving?

Choose Habitat for Humanity of North Central Iowa!

We are currently building a home at 107 15th N.E. St. in Mason City,

rehabbing a home at 16 N. Connecticut (a house moved out of the flood plain with the historic Egloff house), making plans to build in Garner in 2017, and continuing home repair projects throughout our service area.

Please consider helping a family through Habitat for Humanity of North Central Iowa.

Here is the link to donatewww.networkforgood.org.

Thank you for thinking of us this holiday season!

Doeden Home

This home was built for a family of three in Mason City. Both boys have disabilities that made living in their old house difficult. Kathy's family is very grateful to now have a new home that is outfitted to meet all their needs.

Kathy is the single mother of two boys, Brandon, 19, and Nathan, 17.  Both boys have disabilities that make living in her present home difficult.  Brandon has been diagnosed with a form of Muscular Dystrophy which causes motor skill and mobility issues.  Nathan has Spina Bifida and is confined to a wheel chair.  The home they currently share is not handicap accessible. Kathy is originally from Swaledale and has lived in the North Iowa Area all her life.  She works for Comp Systems as a direct care aid assisting special needs children and adults. Nathan is a big fan of NASCAR racing.  Brandon enjoys Vikings football and working on the computer.  He will graduate from NIACC this spring as aComputer Specialist
